hey guys,

so what's the work around? are you guys suggesting to initially bypass the config wizard and use the query browser to set the "user" table in the "mysql database" column authenticate_string column to 'nullable" and then re-run the mysql config wizard?

what are the ramifications "if" any of doing this? have any either one of you tired it yet (Chris or Kerry)? if so is it now working?

I really need to get this fixed! I was stuck at work for 2 days trying to do a stupid install! this is ridiculous!
