Yes, Donald, it works fine. I've been up and running since last night with no issues. The user table is no big deal, and I'm not even sure if anything else in MySQL is using the authentication_string column yet.

As I said in my other post, if you're paranoid, you can just reset the column to NOT NULL again after getting the wizard past the security settings stage.
