Please help with this "Cannot create Windows service for MySQL.Error 0" in Windows XP Pro
Dear all,
I am a total beginner with MySQL, and I just intalled MySQL Server 4.1 in my Windows XP Pro. However, the installation seems not as smooth as expected. At the Instance Configuration Wizard, after performed the standard configuration, the server cannot be started, and I got the "Cannot create Windows Service for MySQL.Error 0". I have tried to search in this forum on how to handle this problem. Many of them asked to delete all the files, and re-install. This is already the 5 times I installed it. Can anyone help me with this problem.
Thanks in advance.
reg,
Hadeli
