i also thought i would include that i copied the create database code found on this page -
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/show-create-database.html
(i feel like an idiot, but may i also ask, is this coding called a syntax?)
Anyway...i entered the create database coding
mysql> create database\g
and then i receive the same error message here aswell.
