My.cnf file not visible in the Red hat installed mysql
dear all.
I have a red hat box in vmware where i installed mysql. i want to make some configuration changes to the mysql. to my surprise i could n't get any my.cnf file from where the mysql is withdrawing its parameters or variable.
There is only one file name my-defaults.cnf and that too is is just dummy file .
kinldy guide me where i can get my real defailt option file so i could make the required changes
