Re: SOLUTION: "mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"

Hi,
I have the same issue and I did exactly like you said. But I couldn't get the MySQL server started at all. I did everything I can but mmmhum nothing happening the server just don't start at all. Any ideas?
