I am running Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, PHP 4.4.1, MySQLl 4.1.6 and phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl3.

When I am trying to browse PhpMyAdmin. I am getting the following message:

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.

MySQL said:

#1251 - Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client.

Can any one inform me, what can I do in this situation ?
