Re: "mysql_connect(): Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"

Hi Stephen

Does that mean you now have Mysql 4.1.7 up and running on Windows2K, I would be keen to find out the status of your system.
I'm Still getting the error #1251 as subject while using PHP or Phpmyadmin.
I have followed and made the changes to my.ini,
with the standard my.ini I have full command line control of mysql but get the above
errors.
I also can not start mysqladmin that comes with the msi installation package,
please update me on your status, any help would be greatly appreciated.
