Hi,
Do you have MariaDB's third-party repository configured? That appears to be where you're getting libmariadbclient18 (= 10.1.23+maria-1~xenial) in Xenial from, as native packaging just contains libmariadb2 instead.
MariaDB and MySQL packages are generally incompatible, so you will most likely need to remove libmariadbclient18 before installing MySQL.
