Hi Barry and thanks for that but my question was not really where do I find the download link it was more asking where can I find out which of the 11 download offers I need. Where can I learn how much or how little of MYSQL that I need?

I accept the no GUI issue. I currently have a proprietory SQL Server 2008 based database on my PC that my Access database links to so that I can merge my data with the SQL data and produce mixed extracts. Recently I have been drifting to pass through queries or being lazy and letting the GUI create the main SQL code and then tweaking it but I am a little surprised MYSQL has not attracted lots of add-ons to do such tasks like you can get for Outlook, Excel, Wordpress etc.

I'm wanting to switch to MYSQL to replace the Access database.
