Hi Lars -

Thank you! Worked great!

Now I assume I can still run mysql_secure_installation to setup aspects other than root pwd and SHA256?

My last two questions are:
- Regardless of install of mysql-server or mysql-community-server in 8.0 installs mysql-community-server as below.

- Is there a repo file to install MySQL 5.7 OR is there a way to set selection to 5.7. So I can have a choice. Not too imp. as default for Debian/ Ubuntu is 5.7. But if I do install 5.7 from repo hope rest of code insetting root pawd also work unchanged.

Much thanks again.
