IT says you have a syntax error - refer mysql manual
As far as I can see there is no syntax error
Since it is mysql 8 server, the default authentication is caching_sha2_password
I want to change it to sha256_password because I want to connect from mysql workbench 6.3 and that won't connect with the default authentication.
Why was the encryption changed with mysql 8?
IT's causing lots of issues with older clients!!!
