running 8.0.13 and mysqld_multi dosent seem to work.
I have 3 instances, i can run any one of them by itself, i can also run all
3 of them at the same time using mysqld_safe --defaults-file=/etc/mysqlN.cnf (where N is 1,2,3)
I created a /etc/my.cnf following the example in the man pages (modified to fit my setup) but when i try mysqld_multi start or mysqld_multi start N (where N
is 1,2,3)
it dosent work!! looks like mysqld_safe is ignoring /etc/my.cnf file and using
generic starting conditions like starting mysqld daemon with databases from
/usr/local/mysql/data
anyone else have this issue?
BTW same setup works fine for 5.7.23
