Hi Robert -

Thanks for raising this issue. It has to do with one specific SQL_MODE -> ALLOW_INVALID_DATES. I have filed a bug to get this issue fixed:
https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=94317

If you need that SQL_MODE for the event/func/proc/trigger, you can drop it before upgrade, and recreate it with the necessary SQL_MODE in the new server.
