Howto: downgrade v5.7.28 to 5.7.27

Hi,
i made an upgrade from 5.7.27 to 5.7.28 this morning. After the update, odbc-connection with ssl-option failed with error:

[MySQL][ODBC 8.0(a) Driver]SSL connection error: error:14094418:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:tlsv1 alert unknown ca

With generating/installing new ssl-certs & keys, everything is fine. But exchanging the files on all clients is no sollution for me at the moment: about 50 clients are installed!

I tried the hole day to solve the problem - with no success.
So my last and only solution for getting the clients back to work is a downgrade to previous version.

Is that possible? (The server is running ubuntu 16.04.2)

Regrads
Armin
