Thanks. Learning curve note to self – don’t uninstall/reinstall
However, I only have one project. Originally, I had it in MS Access. I went to Visual Studio and MySQL so that I could create a website from the project. The MySQL tables still reside in Access. I can export from Access to MySQL if necessary. So, if we get to the last resort option and decide to start from scratch, then there shouldn’t be dire consequences.
But before that, and per your suggestion, I made a copy of the data folder that has ib_logfile* and ibdata*. You said move them. Does that mean that I should delete them in the original location before I restart the server? Should I make any changes in the my.ini file now?
