When I tried to start MySQL manually using:
sudo /usr/local/mysql/support-files/mysql.server start
I get this:
Starting MySQL
. ERROR! The server quit without updating PID file (/usr/local/mysql/data/MacBook-Pro.local.pid).
Perhaps a file ownership problem?
