How to upgrade to newer version of 8?

Hi,
How to upgrade mysql from 8.0.21 to newest version in 8? 8.0.26?
I am on Ubuntu. I did "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt-get upgrade", but they did no work.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
