Re: Unhandled exception error when installing MYSQL server

Hi Danish! Thank you for the reply. I did check the things you suggested and my firewall is allowing it. I looked in my Task Manager and Workbench is running, but I do not see MYSQL Server running in either Apps or Background Processes. I originally started with the MYSQL Community Download and installed the entire package. Workbench installed ok. But I can't connect to a server. The error seems to happen when I'm in the configuration stage of the MYSQL installer. Initially, it gave me the option to ignore the Unhandled exception and continue. I uninstalled everything, re-downloaded the Community Download and it tried again and got the same error. These are the details of the Unhandled reception that occurrs:
