Did you find a solution?

I have the same problem trying to do in-place upgrade from 8.0.37 to 8.4.0 on Windows 10. Everything populates but the "Next" button is greyed out and when I hover the mouse over a red x next to the Connect button, it says "The path is not of a legal form. "
