Hi,

The authentication string is binary data and not suitable for viewing in a terminal, as when interpreted as text, it may contain non-printable and control characters. In your case I suspect there is a Carriage Return character in there before the first visible gibberish character, which would have the effect of overwriting the line from the beginning with the content that follows it. This doesn't indicate a problem with the data though.

If need to get the data, you could wrap the column in HEX().
