Re: mysqlhotcopy to backup ARCHIVE tables?

Hi!

I have a patch floating around that gives archive the ability to track its own data dictionary so it will know which archive tables are sitting around. All the thread needs to know at that point is the starting version for each table. Very possible to do.

Since Archive has versioning its not hard to extend it for cases like this.

Cheers,

-Brian
