The first alpha version of the Linux port of MySQL Workbench is now available for download.

Workbench requires an OpenGL capable X server, preferably with an accelerated video card with at least 32M of memory.

You can get a x86 Linux binary from:
ftp://ftp.mysql.com/pub/mysql/download/mysql-workbench-1.0.0-alpha-linux-i386.tar.gz

And sources from:
ftp://ftp.mysql.com/pub/mysql/download/mysql-workbench-1.0.0-alpha-linux.tar.gz

RPM packages for various distributions will be available soon.

Please test it and report bugs in http://bugs.mysql.com
