Hello,
We have our database running on remote dedicated machine with following specifications,
P4
2.6Ghz
Cache size 1024
RAM: 768
OS: CentOS
And we are access it (i.e. frontend) using ASP. Our database has been grown to 2 to 3 million records and we are experiencing too much delay in page load. The queries in the page are quiet simple one (i.e. without any joins). The average page load time has increased to 10 to 25sec.
I read few tutorials about Mysql tweeking, almost all of them suggested increasing max. threads, query buffer size and different caches. We tried doing it but didnt find much change and we concluded it might be due to a fact that out data gets updated every 10 to 15 minutes.
Any specific hardware upgrade we require? or mysql server specific optimization?
Thanks
Omar
