Thanks Rick, but here im not referring to ID's.

SNORT is a Intrusion Detection System. I implemented snort on Windows 2003 Server. I'm using MySQL as database. Data file is incremented by 3 GB every week. Its taking long time to pull the data from this heavy database file. So i wanna to truncate the database, whenever its hitting 2 GB. Could anyone help me on this?
