Nothing really changes when adding that index.
Well, yes the SELECT in the view returns 24K rows. But I always use a LIMIT value when I do queries on the view so it never actually returns that many rows (I guess?). I'm not that used to handling VIEWS so maybe I'm doing it wrong.
From now I will skip the VIEW and try to make it work without it.
I also upgraded my server to 1.5GB RAM and 2.4GHZ CPU.
Maybe it'll work better now :)
