In order for us to provide any usefull feedback on this query, can you please provide some more information about your schema, Cluster configuration and the query plan calculated by the optimizer.

To be specific, it would be helpfull to have:

1. EXPLAIN output for that query, both for myISAM and Cluster.

2. Definition of the involved tables and its indexes.

3. ~number of rows in the different tables (If they differs from the EXPLAIN)

4. How was your cluster configured.
- ndbd or ndbmtd
- Number of servers used for deploying these NDB datanodes
- mysqld colocated with NDB or on seperate server.

BTW: Did you run ANALYZE on the NDB tables after they had been created
and filled with data?
