Extended functions

Hi,

I need to add extended functions to mysql ....

for exemple i need to be able to do request like
'Select * From table Where data = myfunction(xxx)'
(Where myfunction is a complex C function ...)

I Cannot recompile mysql .... I can only change the confs, add some .so/.dll

Is it possible ?
Is there a documentation about it ?
(i found nothing so far)
