Hi,
What're reasons for segmentation fault errors in the "make" process?!
it's system or package related??
my system is fedora core 3, i get error when "make"ing mysql 5. it's it:

---------------------------------------------------------------
myisampack.c: In function `compress_isam_file':
myisampack.c:2780: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla>; for instructions.
The bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem.
make[2]: *** [myisampack.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/src/mysql-5.0.37/myisam'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/src/mysql-5.0.37'
make: *** [all] Error 2
---------------------------------------------------------------

I got such errors when compiling 2.6 kernel in my RedHat 9 system.
what should i do? (please don't suggest using RPM packages!), thanks
