Missing mysqlx.so in the sever distribution and in the server build process...

Hi there,

I'd need to use C++ mysqlx connector and for that I need to install the relevant plugin on the server. The file name for that plugin is mysqlx.so that could not be found in the latest server distribution for Ubuntu (18.04) nor in the generic linux distribution :(

I also compiled the complete mysql server but after 'make' I could not find mysqlx.so file... Although the build process compiles that plugin and CMAKE does not skip its configuration. So I'm really puzzled.

Does anybody know how to instruct build system to link mysqlx.so? As a quick alternative, do you know what (modern) distribution does contain that plugin?

Many thanks in advance!
