Hi all,

I tried installing mysql-5.1.19-beta on solaris, but encountered gcc problem.

The config.log shows the follwoing: Let me know am i missing any LD_LIBRARY_PATH/PATH ? or the gcc installed is not proper. Kindly guide me.

configure:3960: gcc -v </dev/null >&5
Using built-in specs.
Target: sparc-sun-solaris2.9
Configured with: /export/home/bldmstr/nightly/20060207_gcc2ir.s9.opt.tarbuild/src/configure --prefix=/opt/gcc --enable-languages=c,c++
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.0.2 (gccfss)
configure:3963: $? = 0
configure:3965: gcc -V </dev/null >&5
gcc: '-V' option must have argument
configure:3968: $? = 1
configure:3991: checking for C compiler default output file name
configure:3994: gcc conftest.c >&5
gcc: installation problem, cannot exec 'iropt': No such file or directory
configure:3997: $? = 1

Thanks
