Re: Build 5-5-9 in cygwin
Thx for this as it confirms why I'm having so much difficulties to compile mysql for cygwin.
It could seem making no point, which I would agree in a different environement than mine :
- Developpement server :
IDE Eclipse under Windows seven (for all in one, php, js, java, c, shell... and perl)
VM Debian embedding LAMP
cygwin for perl scripts debugging within the IDE
So I expected using cygwin to be able to debug my whole Perl packages, e.g. using cygwin Perl (which is working), and also using a mysql client.
Therefore I need to compile mysql within cygwin.
But there is maybe a more convenient solution for using mysql client - else than resetting my whole developpment environement - which I'd love :-)
