To be honest, I can never determine what version we're running because I always see multiple version numbers. This is my cluster:

[root@restored_mgm01 ~]# ndb_mgm -e 'show'
Connected to Management Server at: 192.168.207.133:1186
Cluster Configuration
---------------------
[ndbd(NDB)] 6 node(s)
id=3 @192.168.207.135 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8, single user mode, Nodegroup: 0)
id=4 @192.168.207.171 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8, single user mode, Nodegroup: 0)
id=5 @192.168.207.174 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8, single user mode, Nodegroup: 1, *)
id=6 @192.168.207.27 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8, single user mode, Nodegroup: 1)
id=7 @192.168.207.169 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8, single user mode, Nodegroup: 2)
id=8 @192.168.207.178 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8, single user mode, Nodegroup: 2)

[ndb_mgmd(MGM)] 2 node(s)
id=1 @192.168.207.133 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8)
id=2 @192.168.207.45 (mysql-5.6.22 ndb-7.3.8)

[mysqld(API)] 3 node(s)
id=10 (not connected, accepting connect from 192.168.207.177)
id=11 (not connected, accepting connect from 192.168.207.35)
id=12 (not connected, accepting connect from 192.168.207.148)

[root@restored_mgm01 ~]# ndb_mgm -e 'all restart'
Connected to Management Server at: 192.168.207.133:1186
Executing RESTART on all nodes.
Starting shutdown. This may take a while. Please wait...
All DB nodes are being restarted.

Does this mean that I'm running an old version (5.6.22) or a new version (7.3.8)? I appreciate the feedback.

I really can not find any information on how to resolve ndb_restore fails due to transaction lock time outs.
