Upgrade versión kernel and glibc MYSQL database

Hi, we have a database mysql installed with the next version

mysql> SHOW VARIABLES LIKE "%version%";

The sysadmin wants to update the version of the next packages:

kernel-2.6.32-504.el6.x86_64
glibc-2.12-1.149.el6_6.9.i686


to the next or more actual version:

kernel-2.6.32-696.6.3.el6
glibc-2.12-1.209.el6_9.2


The SO version is a RED HAT 6
