The instructions you referred to also says you need to download the client library. That comes as part of the MySQL package, and the last release published for AIX was 5.1.66. You should be able to find it here: https://downloads.mysql.com/archives/community/

There is however no guarantee that the current ODBC driver will work on AIX as this is no longer a supported platform.
