Im German so sorry for bad english ;)

i want to aks you wether this implementation is good or not and why.

with php a costumer can add a task to a taks database like activatng the account for example.

task databas:

id| taskname | costumerID

then i have an Event, that looks like:

-every 10 minutes
-look at task database and get the oldest entry
-if taskname="activate"
activate the acc
-else if taskname="buy a point"
buy the ccostumer a point.

the tasks are very komplex, so i want to work on them serialialized, so i am very sure that the consistens is not in danger.

How can i do this a little bit more "professional"?
