Problems with Scheduling event to Call Stored Procedure

Hi All,

I'm running MySQL 5.1.31-1ubuntu2 on Ubuntu 9.04. I created a recurring event to call a stored procedure but the event is not executing as scheduled.

The command is:

CREATE EVENT IF NOT EXISTS EventProcessParsedSMS
ON SCHEDULE EVERY 3 MINUTE
ENABLE
DO CALL ProcessedParsedSMS(STR_TO_DATE('2009-06-20', '%Y-%m-%d'));

I'm exectuting the event using a non-root account but has full access to the database that the event is executing in. I know the event is not running because in the Stored Procedure I have an update statement to a table that logs the timestamp of the last execution.

Am I doing anything wrong here? Appreciate any help to my problems.

Thanks,

Rahmad
