If you run in a full J2EE app server you can look into the scheduling options the J2EE server has; perhaps using message-driven beans (from EJB2.1 spec).

But since the straightforward answer to your question is 'NO' any further answers are a bit off-topic for this forum, and you should look for support at whomever supplied your JSP container...
