Problem regarding bind-address
I have created a java desktop application that uses MySql database.
As far as running of application is concerned in the same PC in which MySQL server is running, it is running ok.
Now I have two computers in Lan.
1. IP=192.168.1.1 (A)
2. IP=192.168.1.11 (B)
I want to install the application as well as MySQL server in computer A and use the application in computer B by creating a shortcut of application in computer A.
Now, the problem I am facing is how to provide connection string in application so that the jar file produced can run in both the PC.
Currently my connection string = (jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/invoice","root","abc")
I would be very happy if anyone can help me out.......
