Multi master to single slave replication

Hi All,

We are re-organizing our systems and were wondering about setting up multiple master machines to replicate to one slave. Before we had master/slave relationships, but are currently looking at this simply for backups and recovery.

All of the googling I have done seems to indicate that this is not possible. Is that correct? Or is there a somewhere I can read up on setting this up in the manner above?
