libmysqlclient.so* libraries

Hello,

I have been having problems with finding information about how to get the libmysqlclient.so* for Solaris. I understand you can download them for LINUX but why not Solaris?

I think you need to place this in your documentation and explain how to get the Solaris libmysqlclient.so files. I am new to MySQL, and I didn't realise I needed to download and complie the source code for MySQL to get these files, it has taken be over 2 weeks to find this out.... I am still not sure if this is true as I found it by searching Google and it was a forum thread.

Since the libmysqlclient libraries are a huge topic in various forums, there should be more information about them in the manuals.
