One Manual per MySQL Version: What do you think?

You've probably noticed that we recently split up the MySQL Reference Manual into version-specific manuals:
- http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/4.1/en covers MySQL up to (including) 4.1.
- http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en covers MySQL 5.0.
- http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en covers MySQL 5.1.
We still have to adapt the online search, that's why it's temporarily disabled for the 4.1 and 5.1 manuals. Except the search to be fully functional again soon.

We're interested in getting feedback from you on that change. Does it make working with the manual (or, rather, the manuals) easier for you, or rather harder?
