possible translation error on rpad french documentation?

Hello,

I think the french translation of the rpad documentation doesn't match the English meaning and is confusing regarding the behavior when the string is longer.

English version (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/string-functions.html#function_rpad) is : "If str is longer than len, the return value is shortened to len characters."
example: RPAD('123456789',6,'*') > '123456'
French version (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/fr/string-functions.html) is : "Si la chaîne de caractères str est plus longue que len' caractères, elle sera raccourcie de len caractères." Which could be translated into "If str is longer than len, the return value is shortened *of* len characters."
example: RPAD('123456789',6,'*') > '1234'
Correct translation would be "Si la chaîne de caractères str est plus longue que len' caractères, elle sera raccourcie *à* len caractères." or maybe more accurate "Si la chaîne de caractères str est plus longue que len' caractères, elle sera *tronquée à* len caractères."

Best regards.
