Can I connect to oracle database with Mysql connector?

Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible to connect to an Oracle database through mysql because I have tried with cx_oracle (i'm on python) and i get the following message
"cx_Oracle.DatabaseError: DPI-1047: 64-bit Oracle Client library cannot be loaded: "libclntsh.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"".

I was looking for another solution,
