Sean: Do Microsoft allow you to upgrade free of charge? We do, and we mention the start date for new features and syntax, and also list old syntax when the new syntax is not present in production versions. Old distributions have manuals included in them, but we keep the online version relevant to the latest developments. We are working on methods of versioning the manual, but it is not as easy as you think.
