Re: Clustering via Shared Storage

We are looking into deploying a fallback datacentre.
In both centre's there will be a SAN for storage and there will be a SAN replication via fiber.

I would like to use MySQL nodes on both sites accessing this shared storage (r/w).

Does such a thing actualy work with MySQL?
Collegues have accomplished this via Oracle and M$-SQL, but my core app uses MySQL as a backend.

Hope to hear,

Raymond
