CSV Support

We have MySql 4.1.8 installed on Windows and Mysql 5 on Linux server.
When I checked with "Show Engines" command it shows the list of supported storage engine. In which CSV support is indicated as "No". Does anybody will help me, why it is so, as CSV support is available in 4.1 and it is written in MySql Documentation.
