Ho risolto il mio problema...per quanti avessor in futuro un problema simile al mio, vi invito a controllare che le parole non siano incluse nel file stopword.
Questo file è di default in lingua inglese.
Vi basterà creare un file vuoto ( eventualmente inserite le stopword separate da virgole ) e inserire un qualcosa di simile nella sezione [mysqld] del vostro file di configurazione simile a questo:
ft_stopword_file = /etc/my.stopword
