Ciclo For di access

Salve a tutti, ho un problema nella traduzione di un ciclo for di una Function di access in una Stored Procedures...
Utilizzo 2 campi data formattati come stringa (DatInizio= 20080926 e DatTermine=20080930)

Il codice รจ il seguente

For I = DatInizio To DatTermine
Anno = Left(I, 4)
Mese = Mid(I, 5, 2)
Giorno = Right(I, 2)
GiornoSett = Weekday(DateSerial(Anno, Mese, Giorno), 2)
....
Next I

Sapete darmi qualche indicazione a riguardo su come ovviare il problema?
