Although Table Exists It Doen't Exist!

i have some tables in database which mysql doesn't recognise them! what seems to be the problem?
i have this problem in 2 cases:
1.when i copy my database folder and paste it with another name
(to make a quick backup)
2.when i create tables with a program i coded in delphi
Ps:I'm using Mysql Under Windows
